Moving up there on June from Jacksonville fl to Pax River (NAS) area. Wondering what are some pointers of things to do, how active is the boating season etc. Thanks in advance David.

You are going to be right on the Patuxent River and Solomons Island area. Some good night life waterfront bars there. It used to be a quiet town but has grown quite a bit since I worked on the bridge over the river that connects it to Lenardtown in the 70's. Good place to run smaller boats in the river but where it meets the Chesapeake you may need a larger offshore boat.

I'm in Virginia right now till may then I'll head to Maryland, the drive ain't that bad close to 4 hours. Does the weather warms up here ? Hahahaha

Thanks for the info. Heard this weekend they also do a big party for the summer in solomons.

On the north end of the bay, baltimore /annapolis lots of fun from red eyes dock bar to the chesapeake inn. The jetty. rock hall. lees landing. nauti goose. poker runs and raft up,s.....

Thanks for all the info, glad to hear about all that stuff to do. Was kind of worry about it but it's looking like we can enjoy it. Hopefully the weather warms up soon cause last weekend was to cold hahaha. Thanks again Dave.
