PS. Crystal Cove is dog friendly but please clean up after your mutt and respect the property. There was an issue in the past and those of us who bring their dogs dont want to lose beung able to bring them.
My dog likes to hang out by the indoor pond and lick the Koi when they stick their heads up. Pretty entertaining after a few cocktails.

What's the river traffic like during this time of the year? Been a while since I've been on the St. Johns.

It is mind boggling to see what little traffic is on the river (one of the things that makes it so special). The spring is more congested but never to the point of being full other then on holiday weekends. There is plenty of protected shoreline to run in this stretch as well. Lake George can be a different story, if it blows up-you don't want to be out there in a small boat.

We walked into Porkeys looking for food and were greeted by a group looking at us like WTF .... who are you people with teeth LOL.
They did send us off to a nice place to eat though.

If Crystal Cove is full there is a nice new placed called Renegades on the River that opened up this summer about 1/2 mile from Bass World. They have 5 new cabins and several RV sites along with a TiKi Bar, Restaurant, boat ramp, docks w/slips and gas. http://www.renegadesontheriver.com/

Spoke with Jessica today and yes there are rooms available on the detached part of the motel. And a couple rooms left in the main motel. Lookin like another great turn out.

It's nice and exspencive. they still don't have enough acomedations to hold a group as large as ours. But did hear they are serving food now. sooo maybe Fri could make a lunch run there. Or go back to 3 bannas thrue dunns creek. Up to yaw

I sold my fast boat again .... seems to happen every year .... But I will b there forsure in our old ski boat or pontoon so will need to put in somewhere close to the glen..... Either way I will stop by the cove sat or fri night and say hello to everyone ....
