    WTB 300 x drop on power head that is "REASONABLEY PRICED"

    Just like the title says.... looking to see whats out there that may not be advertised,obviously I know they pull a premium but come on...any way.... please let me know what you have? located on long island cash in hand for right deal

    I know of a x with a tm just sold for 12K
    seems the x prices are firm....
    a good x is gunna b hard to replace, the xs motors just don't cut it....

    5k is what i get for a 250 efi rebuilt i dont think you going to find a x for that kinda money

    It seems like the X's have gone up in value from what they were bringing around 2010 or so. 28 Skaters are also bringing more money these days than in days past.

    Just like the 280's going up the 300x stuff is also since Mercury is no longer producing the blocks or rotating assemblies.

    There you have it. Your resonably priced needs couple more thousands. IMO you see a 300x you don't worry about the price you just buy it. It's one of those things you can't go wrong with it still going be worth what you paid for 2 years from today.

    Yup..... and that makes for more of a reason for me to stick with my xs's on my 28 skater and hold on to the one x power head I have,was worth a try

    I'll bet if you took one of the XS's off and mounted the 300x on one side, your 28 Skater would only go in circles, LOL...
