Arrow Marine???
I just picked this up today but cannot find any info on it. I thought it was a good looking running surface and it isn't in real bad shape but it does need a lot work. I would really like to know a bit of the history. The tag says Arrow Marine from Calif. its 16' x 6' is rated for 125hp there is script missing from the sides that looks like it said Sidewiner. Any info anyone? Did they run/handle well? I can see that it was built fairly solid, even the deck hull joint is flush and laminated all the way around so getting the deck off well kinda suck. There is no paper work and I can't find a HIN # on it yet so I have no idea what year it is or when they were made. Hope someone knows of them.

I had a 1971 16'sidewinder. Absolutely loved the boat. The person that had the boat before me put a 8" notch in the back on the bottom of the transom. The boat would hang to the moon with a 120 Evinrude looper on it.

From what I have found it seems to be an original Side Winder but I have no idea on the year. The Winder web site is a bit of a dead end much to my disappointment. A lot of info but seems to be kinda shut down. I really have no time or need for this along with no room to store it but just hated to see it left to rot away so I gave the guy the $50.00 for it and brought it home. If anyone is interested in it I have cleaned it up and removed all the rotten wood so it could dry out. It needs a floor/transom/and the one stringer. I will let it go for the 50.00 to a good home.
If interested please come get it, I hate to see it go to waste. E-mail me @ [email protected]So many projects so little time

I wish somebody would come get it, I think it is very restorable but I already have 3 others ahead of it and no room to keep it out of the weather. It / I am in Syracuse N.Y. if anyone knows someone around her that is interested.

I had a 28 AT myself, new owner still posts on the OSO boards and still has it. I remember your handle from OSO and the location, your AT was killer, have been having some fun with smaller outboards for a while.

Ya, I am just playing with vintage stuff these days, cheaper and back to basics fun without the worry of whats gona break or how much it will cost. The offshore thing is outa control these days for many more reasons than I care to admit. Glad I was able to get out when I did. I still keep an eye on the "Cult" though having been a founding member n all. LOL.
