Welcome, you have already met some of the trouble makers the rest will follow shortly. I however am the shining star of the site. If anyone has Heathen under their name they are the real ones to watch out for. What kinda of BBQ sauce do you use in Germany?

Hey Chris! I had to run to town when last posted here. But I was in Germany in Hanua after Nam in 1969, and ended up there for 4 months (should have been 7 months but early out to go back to school). DAMN! You people REALLY know how to have a "good time"! Then? Prostitution legal and well run, then damn "walking the Strasse" and what we called "Toto Loto stands"? Grab a pint and a walk and when low, fresh one next stand! Or "Keller Giuster" wine! And that damn "autobahn"? I was Battalion welder, had my own jeep and Deuce 1/2. Its dark coming back month from the "war games" in "Graf" which I also found out later was REAL close Chech border where my Grandfather left family at home, leave war torn Europe and got here with $25 in his pocket on a "cattleship". Made money and soon sent the rest family over. Yes, his name is in stone, the "Ellis Island stone wall", and have all history/ship records him. But back to the "fun fun fun on the Autobahn" (Kraftwerk).
DAMN at night late coming back and chugging along at 55 WOT and caught "headlights way back there (left lane of course). DAMN! I'm clueless what it was, but shot by me doing over 200mph! Damn, the stories/mems got from there! PRICELESS! Anyway, a few pix from 1970, and you people are the damn best and MOST friendly, and communication not understanding each other? Never a problem as gestures, smile, etc said .."I understand" And the best people ever met, ..(touch crazy, but that the way I LIKE IT!) And if I have to mention "whats in that pipe"? Well, it wasn't apple sauce! And pix are from same time now spring, only 46 years ago, but still "like yesterday". Be well new friend here. Glad to get another overseas boater here!

Me dark hair, and 2 buds, and all us Nam Vets too. Great time this day! (and the company clerk was a photog freak, and took the pix)
