    Unhappy Hypothetically speaking

Ive got a 1998 225 mariner supermag with a Bobs lower, great motor, but mid should be shorter for my Carlson, and yes, I believe I'm overpowered. I know, I know ,you don't have to go full throttle all the time, but I'm just throwing this out there in case someone has a 150 promax ss "ish", or even a 200 P.M.,with a 15" mid, or should I just find a smaller power head. Regards, to much thinking ,Chris

That's what I was thinking . Nice engine . Have Mike Chapman or Marty Powell shorten it if you wish . Power on tap is money in the bank !

What does it run? Have you stiffened and/or blueprinted the bottom?

Only run it twice since adding core, two stringers instead of one, transom, knees, floor, blueprinted bottom, had it to 82gps with lab bed 27 trophy with lots left.
