Keith, WOW, your little guy looks just like my coon hound (Dexter). D is 85lbs.

I think he may have some coon or foxhound in him. He is rather tall for a beagle with longer legs than most beagles and at 2 is still very thin and muscular. he is around 25 pounds. Most of the beagles i have seen start to get a little more stout and chubby around a year and a half. He is not too in love with swimming but he loves the boat and car.

Here's our newest rescue, a 3 year old Akbash. He's 100 lbs, loves the kids, and is the fastest runner I've ever had.

On dogs in snow? Mine never saw but a few flakes here and melts but amazed! Did a road trip see my bro in NorCal and stopped Lassen Nat Park way down. Had to leash her as just off the parking lot had too or she would have to go "greet" everybody else there! Doggys and snow" Hmmm..dunno..

Back to boat dogs. At my bros now at his lakefront crib. Went out the "toon" party boat and (besides "Pinky" pointing) dog lead the way. Last pic my bro and SIL, and and "Jake", the "dogliest of dogs". RIP "Jake"...(goofy little lovable hug able beast!)

Here's one I forgot about but posted FB.

"One of the few times we get snow here, PNW. Got 8 inches, few back. Guess the rest the country, gonna, get "white". Thats cool, as nothing like a quiet snowfall, dark, the SILENCE? "GO FOR A WALK AND ENJOY!..(take the goofball mutt too..pic me and the neighbors, .."bury the doggy!". Lotta fun!
