Engine Weights???

Was researching engine weights for a project and stumbled on nadaguides.com, which lists all mfg's, basic spec's but way cool is that weights are also listed.
Up to this point I had been googling old catalogs.

Maybe y'all knew this already but I didn't.

It was pointed out to me on S&F about a month ago when I was lookin to buy an older OMC V6..... Glad it was as the motor weighed a LOT more than I thought!!! Very helpful. Gary

You can check hull weights also

Those weights should be filtered for sensibility... But if you figure out what platform you are looking at it's a ballpark. Thanks for the idea and link.

Yeah I was using it looking at 20 hp dinghy motors and didn't go any farther than that �� BTW, check out the difference in weights in all the 20's !
Remember to add the trim pump in on the hi perf Mercs too.
