    Rinda Diacom Diagnostic Software

I'm looking at buying one of these diagnostic packages but Rinda seem to be difficult to get answers from.
Who is using this software?? What do you think of it?? And does anyone know if it's compatible with the newer type F150, F115 CT motors.
I only need the outboard software so I'm not interested in the inboard side of it.

Read their advertisements and it hinted that you could go in and change performance parameters. Fuel offsets but not actually curves? DDT software is tough to come by for the Smartcraft motors. If you have used both DDT and Rinda what has your satisfaction with the Rinda? Pros and cons? Thanks.

i have not used either one enough to compare the two. i use my rinda to look for code that is causing a horn to go off. also to set the tps volts at idle. it seems to have the same data as ddt for rpm and hour history. i am in the dark about either being able to reprogram fuel or timing of the pcm. it is also good for firing the coils and easily spotting the one with a weak spark.

I'm happy with the functions of the Rinda software, but does anyone know if it's compatible with the new mercury 4 strokes?? I've heard they use a different platform. G3 seems to come to mind.

That list tells me that it only supports 4 strokes between 2002-2010.
Either the list hasn't been updated or it doesn't support the newer 4 strokes. With 2016 around the corner, it seems like the package is a bit dated...

The engines in question are the 3.0L inline 4 150hp, the 1.7L 115hp CT (Command Thrust).

Is the CT not a 2.1L engine?
The 1.7L is the older verado derived NAL4 ( Naturally Aspirated L4)
