Maybe it don't matter but the steering yoke on these motors seams sloppy....with twins maybe not a problem.....but ya can kick the lowers sideways.....

Its a 328-(three twenty eight) this is a bigger boat then any other 32 skater A or B. Supposed to be running the same numbers as it did with the triple 300X motors (just over a hundred) but Grant says that there is more left in it.

Just over a hundred with triple 300X? That seems low. I am doing that with a 36 Talon with triple 300X with the wrong props. I am not done testing props. So far I have not heard any good numbers with these 400R engines yet. Skater has a 318 they are finishing with twin 400R. Should be the one the watch. If it is not 120 mph I would sink it.

The 32 Doug Wrights are going to be the ones to watch 130+. Brad, you have had enough boats to know the difference-if you get the chance to drive a D.W., you will be amazed. We were out today in 4 to 6 foot stuff and that boat continues to impress me every out.

The 400r has a real lower mount.

ok, i have had enough, i was never going to say a word? and trust me many people keep forwarding me these post and the article, but? , i have been in the 328 at 103 " the new speed" also, and then we went to 117mph with the triple 300x engines, all this before the latest and updated DBR intake kits were done. triples are not for everyone, it is likely a very nice and more usable recreational boat now with the twin 400R, i like it, but faster than the triples? please?

300X actual horsepower is 330. 990 HP and they went to 800 HP with the twins. Two 400R weigh the same as three 300X. Triples should be faster on this boat. To me it is not about Skater or Doug Wright. I am sure the DW is a fantastic boat. What my comment was if the 400R can be made to make a cat run fast. If the 30 Skater does not see big numbers we will know.
