Yes i lifted the ban on the account. Anybody here that knows me will understand that I always try to work out issues people may have on the site. A permanent ban is always an absolute last resort for me. I always do my best to find out what created any issues or disagreements and just work through them. In most cases, the issue is either a misunderstanding or just something minor. I try to give everyone a fair shot.

I come on here to try to show what I'm doing and all I get is safety and how stupid we are if I want to wear a lifejacket I will I understand the dangers .Most of the time I'm in a bathing suit heading from beach to beach with my 100+ viper it is used as a boat not a trailer queen like most of you guys. So if u have a do the core or where's your life jacket comment please I ask you nicely keep it to yourself

Mike, I saw your video and I can completely understand the viewpoints people are making here about there being concern for safety. I realize that not everybody expresses these concerns in a way you will agree with, but nobody wants to see you get hurt or even worse, killed.
There is no doubt that your Viper is impressive. You've done a great job with it, and that is all the more reason to take the extra steps required for safety. A lot of veterans here on Scream And Fly, such as Rob (Hot Shot Merc) have a lot of experience driving very fast boats, but even more importantly and tragically, have seen people lose their lives from the pursuit of speed. Nobody wants to see that happen to you Mike.
Nobody here will deny that your Viper is very fast and you put a lot of work into it to achieve that. We would like to see you set an example for others, that's all. When you own a boat as fast as yours, you have a responsibility not only to yourself, but to others that might be influenced by you.
like I said, nobody wants to see you or others get hurt.

Then tunnels totally different animal .... Hey wear safety gear don't wear safety gear I personally don't wear my jacket when I'm just cruisin but when I'm pushing it no one else is in the boat and I wear jacket and helmet I grew up on street bikes so I already knew over a certain mph its nice to have a full helmet wind noise is down can see ... It's nice .... I've always been able to put down a better number with gear on its always good for a few mph
but enough of me bla bla ... Lets all try and communicate better and realize were all nuts and wouldn't b here if we weren't a lil crazy to begin with .... Fkn A.....

,as far as being unsafe,i am not my brothers keeper!i deal with idiots on the water here all the time and most of them are wearing life jackets and going 45-50 mph!

I would like to apologize for my harsh words in my earlier post. I should have worded it differently. Im very impressed with your boat and share the same passion. I hate to say I wish youve seen what I have because I dont want anyone to see that type of thing happen to anyone but its the ones weve lost that make me see the importance of the saftey gear. Ive driven my boat well over 100 mph many times so make no mistake im not perfect but Ive learned that im lucky to still be here and want to continue running hot boats for the rest of my life. In the future I hope you suit up and always be careful out there.
Greg, Thanks for the recognition.

It is clearly not unfair for those of us who see something we think is dangerous to comment. Rob, as someone noted above, respectful may work better than calling them idiots and provoking them to show photos of their kids in the boat w/o a jacket. But, Realspeed, part of the great value of this place is sharing knowledge. I know I grew up into using a proper jacket as a result of time on this forum, one guy dying because he had no jacket, one guy living only because another hot boater dove under water and pulled his body up, and one guy going on utube and attributing his surviving to his Lifeline. Making respectful comment about how we do things is not being a hater--it is trying to raise the level of what we all do.
PS--Rob, you wrote while I was typing. Nicely put.Per Rock:
"Once I bought my first Hydrostream boating changed forever for me."
Per my hero Instigator:
"I try not to let common sense interfere w/my boat buying decisions."

I just want to clear this up. For the record, I have never done anything stupid in my life
(cause few people carried cameras years ago and there ain't no photos, so none of that stuff ever happened)
