Yep....pulled heads 2 trips ago cylinder was fine.....loaded a big boy in boat last trip...guess the extra heat got it

here is my unsolicited opinion on that hole if i was a betting man i would say sleeve holder 3/5 thousanths out of round or more and a standard od flanged sleeve was installed this will not work the heat will not transfer ive learned this the hard way out of my pocket when Jim Ruck was still driving up at his place i would suggest things as how i thought they should work he would set me straight, when he dropped off front line i moved to James Perry's shop totally he is way better then any one ive ever used he has told me things and procedures on resleeving i would not believe before but after 7 years and no blown motors or stuck pistons "EVER" i now am installing 6 new sleeves in every motor so everything i sell now is new standard bore it just my experience on eating bad machine work
