Doesn't look like much or any fuel is making it past small filter on bleed line return

bleed loop back to vst only makes fuel at idle when throttled up its non existent ive noticed over the years fuel generated to puddle area has varied quite a lot from motor to motor!! So bibs are capped on the block and its a standard bleed set up. you running brucato i see by pix i aint been too lucky with those ecus i own two now and several in past non have run good as Merc ecus except idle has always been good on them never on big end, ive not seen a wash pattern like that in all the motas ive been into and that's quite a few

man do i ever know that story
the pmax i pulled off my bullet 3 months ago to put the 260 on was a mind blower it was all bone stock pmax but every single time you throttled up it shut off but started right back up throttle up again it went right back out , i changed every single item one at a time from flywheel to pulse pump no change, finally i said im gonna pull whole electrical assembly off trigger to plug so i pulled a whole set up out of the 200 box i was rebuilding put it on it ran like a scalded dog that whole set up i took off is in a box marked when you aint got nothing to do figure this out ( i aint looked at it )plus the 260 i put on with 16 amp charging system on it would not charge even after two lite wheels rectifiers i lost count two brand new stators but NO Soap so i pulled itALL off and put a 40 system on it im breaking it in with that on so ive had my share of troubles also Break out another thousand is oh so true

buddy of mine got a pmax thats whipping his butt too.....done had 5 sets of hands on it trying to figure it out....pretty much bought and replaced every electrical component on it....flowed injectors 2........rebuilt fuel system twice.......thing still runs like poop at low rpm......above 4k runs great?( BUT THATS FOR ANOTHER THREAD)81' HYDROSTREAM VECTOR / slightly Modified 200

If it were ignition, I would expect it to be down enough on power for you to notice.
Either water or gasoline is washing that cylinder really well.
Since you seem to have swapped a lot of components with no difference, and it looks so clean, I would guess water.
If the engine were running pig rich, you would most likely see a very high EGT, as the flame would be burning out the exhaust port.
If you make a plug chop, is that plug wet and smelling more of gasoline than the others?Last edited by Markus; 08-30-2015 at 12:02 AM.

I know you changed head gasket but have you checked the head to be true? I know sounds crazy with a gasket but water can pass in a very small area, it happens.
