new guy, wanted to give a little intro
Recently bought my first boat, had a jetski for a while but wanted something more significant. Picked up a 1985 Carrazza with an i/0 454. The boats in really good shape aside from the normal things i expected with a boat of its age. Paint is a little faded and the fuel gauge and trim gauges dont work. I love it though. I saw someone on here used to sell carrazza boats . Would love to talk to him and get a little history on these things, i havent seen many around.
Sold my old toy for this boat, it was a 1990 nissan 300zx that i converted to right hand drive and swapped a infiniti v8 into. Working on engines and mechnical **** is nothing new to me. anyway heres some pics of her and my tow rig.

on the prop it says: Quicksilver 48 89800 A5 19P and on another blade it says: HH51242.( the guy i bought the boat from said it was an expensive prop and its a chopper) i was able to get it to rev a little over 4k. Im thinking the prop might not be right for the boat.

I'm not exactly sure but would think the 454 should turn 46-4800, any pics of the engine?

I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.
I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.
