Put this on Facebook but gotta say thanks on here too .... Thanks to Brian Carhart for a awsome Hydrostream and everyone else up there ... Y'all know who you are ..., for making me feel welcome and getting to know y'all a lil bit now .... Good things .... big thanks to Greg too for giving us a place to come together and meet great folks .... Yeah I just did about 40 miles in a vector feeling a lil nostalgic .... If that's even the word ...,

To those who have asked, I wanted to bring to the top how this all works. Lots of people are, and have been, interested but participation is on the decline. Below are the rules, which haven't changed much since the start. P.S.: anyone in our area (Wisconsin/Minnesota/Illinois/Iowa) wanting to get together REAL soon might want to contact me immediately Don't say I didn't warn you


Many of you know about us by now, but for those of you who do not, the concept is a simple one:

Get a group of fellow Hydrostream owners together and go boating on various bodies of water in and around Wisconsin. We are a unique breed of individuals that really love and appreciate the classic lines and feel of driving a Hydrostream.

The Rules:

Power Tour stops will not be posted in advance on this thread. Persons wishing to participate must contact me in advance. We will notify our list of participants of future planned stops in advance (suggestions welcomed). The reason for this is that we want to keep this a Hydrostream Only group and keep it limited to those who will respect our group and the lakes we boat on.

Our Goals:

- To meet new friends with common interests and maintain long lasting relationships with our growing list of Hydrostream friends.
- To continue to grow the "HydroStream Owners Group" as a network of individuals that share ideas about their classic Stream's and can get together and go boating
- To get Greg to come to one of our get togethers for a classic Hydrostream Photo Shoot. Greg has a permanent invite
- To share photos for the enjoyment of fellow distant enthusiasts unable to participate

Notes:

We have no tolerance for BS here. Everyone gets equal respect; from the $500 “work in progress” boat pulled out of the weeds; to the brand new rig with new power. In fact, perhaps a touch more respect for the ones that “save” the old boats and put in serious work to restore them. Another note is that we are not interested in anyone trying to get involved with the group that is trying to “sell” something. With our broad membership base, if we do not know how to do something, someone in the group probably does. That being said, we still welcome “good” people to join us.

It's a great thing u have put together....if I was closer I'd definitely be asking to join....coming north to join u guys for a weekend is on the bucket list.....hope life allows that one day.

We have a great group of guys down here with same interest. It ain't about who's the fastest...who dumped the most money...or who slept with the prom queen.....

There ain't nothing better than 2 or more of these ol streams strung out side by side running down the river...those moments make all the work worth while!

What a great day!!! I would love to make it a week thing but I think I would drop a few grand on gas by the end of the week! The water couldn't be any better! The people we passed on the river couldn't be any nicer too!

The conditions were great the people were great. The location was fantastic. Could not of asked for a better weekend. Maybe no rain on Friday would have been nice but Saturday was the best and Sunday was great also. I am so happy that my family and I can be part of this.

It was a great day on Saturday and had a blast even though I couldn't pull the 30 cleaver with all the weight in the little viper with my fat ass and the wife. Thank you to Jeff (Sonik)for waiting for me to change out my prop and sending Danno back to show me where you all were! Thanks to all for the warm welcome to a first time attendee at the Power Tour.
