    Check out the nosecone sticking out on this boat,what a picture its from the s&f blog on aussie racing. Anyone know what the black coating under the sponsons is? Somekind of speed coating maybe!

    I was gonna say before I read your comment. "How is that motor getting water in it?"

    I just ordered myself a Pro Boat Stiletto this morning. Nothing like the real thing, but still should be a hoot.

    Does anyone have this image in large format? (desktop size picture)

    Either it settles down and gets water or he is using a transom mount pickup like I do.
    Awsome pic. I wish I could get a good one of my boat showing the nosecone better. Mine is as high but the smaller tunnel makes getting a pic tougher. I need to mount the GoPro in the tunnel one day.

    ...thats a bad @$$ pic!...i would guess the black paint on the bottom is a speed coat...maybe a graphite paint

    That's the way we run em. They ingest a good deal of air at that height but generally do not overheat.
