Father-in-law was a WWII vet and passed away 8 months ago. Never much wanted to talk about the war and suffered from what today is now call PTSD. And now is in peace without all his demons.

My BIL was (still is at 90 now) a WW2 B-24/25 pilot as his brother who was there shot down the plane and none survived the crew. And no, he won't talk it me either. Simple "bad mems to lose his brother" Few will remember just how we got to today's "good life" from WW2. Born 1950 and seen it!
But as a Nam Vet.."called forgotten war" What about Korea? Never mentioned much both. Calling BIG time "politics here" as now Nam is a trading partner? and Korea want to nuke us?
Forget "win the war any cost", as now? Its big business...........and sucks!
