Thumbs up The new catamaran has arrived .................................. finally

It was an adventure having this shipped from Turkey (Istanbul) with U.S. customs being the cherry on top.. but shes at the shop ready to start rigging this weekend.

She needs a little class work and maybe a few extra bulk heads, but nothing serious.

Thanks, I really think this is going to be the idea race / play / poker run boat.

As for Power I bought a Mercury 2.5 200xs ROS engine, I was leaning toward an E-Tec 225 HO but I already have a garage full of Mercury parts so why change now.
(But I may in the near future)

With a 200ros top speed should be 95-100mph, the 24 Twisters are a little quicker but also lighter. We will be looking to cut weight buy machine a billet wing plate, using a lithium motocross battery and any other small items we find along the way.

Fuel Capacity - Looks around a 20/25gal tank. It's strapped in the back and can easily be removed and replaced with a larger tank if needed. I pulled it last night to see
if I would fit into a sponson and only took a few seconds.

Length is 25ft on the nose

The bare hull weight is around 1300lbs, but until we hang it from I scale I can be sure.

UIM C3-225 class minimum is 2425lbs (less drivers), pretty sure the C3 200 weight limit is 1860lbs (But not 100% sure)

Seating - is a side x side set up but this boat must have had a very short driver, or I'm unusually tall for European standards. The drivers seat is moved
15" in front of the throttle mans seat, It looks a little strange but gives the small cockpit lots of room to move around and accesses the bottom out escape hatch if
you ever flip. The problem is the driver seat is right on top of the dash... I cany even fit my legs under. So the seat gets moved back, or the dash gets moved forward..I'll make this decisions Sunday. Below is a quick draw I did.

Shipping ended up being a difficult task and stressful at times. The boat was "tagged" for X-Ray, than pulled for extra scrutiny. Basically they
pulled the container aside, shipped to a separate location, opened the container, boat removed, boat searched, boat reloaded into the container, container shipped
back to the yard by U.S. customs.. all on my dime.
