Impressive numbers. I noticed SCB has a video from previous years with the 350SCI with a sportmaster lower unit running at speed 75mph at 6700rpm. That set up using a smaller gear case than what is on the 400r. It seems more than amazing to me that a larger gearcase with only 50hp would net a 10mph gain when all the guys down here (MTI, Cigarette etc) are only seeing 3-4mph max. Must be the light boat?

btw I wonder what a LCB could do with a 400R seems it could handle the weight since they have little girth?
The rigged "weight " will not be a issue on the LCB. I would expect 130+ top end on my Fishing boat.
I will add that SCB builds a fine boat as wellLast edited by scawd the dog; 04-28-2015 at 08:06 AM.

I know quite a bit about the boat in the pic seeing as how Rick had it sitting in the water next to my SCB a few weeks back at the Rock the Dock boat show in Aransas Pass Tx
, I was running demo's in mine but for what ever reason the boat pictured never ventured out of the harbor where we were staged for the show. When I said "back on track" I was referring to the new SV22 / 400R combo, I'd encourage you to start a thread on the Fat Cat/V8 so we can see the progress and videos of what that hull will do with 600+hp pushing it, one thing I'll admit is it sounded damn mean idling from the ramp to the dock
. FYI, I have a place about 20 miles from Fat Cat / Ricks shop and even have a couple buddies that are running them, Rick damn sure has a imagination when it comes to some of the stuff the boys are doing over there, imo some are hits and some are misses but as they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder
