I once knew of 36 and 32 yellowfin that were pretty quick from what ive heard. The 36 had
Quad 300xs if I remember. Boats name was xs rated. Caldwell set it up and I heard and was rolling before they sold it. Guy in venice has it now with twin yammies

Yeah, given my track record, I'll get bored and she'll be for sale anytime now. Arch and leaning post are candy blue and interior is getting redone, I'll post new pics as soon as I get it buttoned up.

    25 action marine

Just found this old thread, I have a 25 action marine i purchased from south Florida a couple years ago. It is an 89 model, with merc 225s, runs around 70, still tweaking it.

i have tried many props on this boat, and added full manual hydraulic steering to help track better. It seems to like smaller diameter props, currently running mirage 25s around 70 at 5800 rpms. I'm gonna give the mirage 27s a try to see if I can squeeze out a few more mph. Any suggestions from guys that have run an action 25? It has a 27" bracket which I think is a little too far of a setback.

It was only 1 lower unit & the drive housing cracked off, I was such a good Mercury man , I was able to get it covered under warranty & also sent a diver out to find the lower unit also. That was a perk for bring the Parts Manager at Sundance Marine. Warren do you remember the Tugboat Annies on Sunday nights?

I'm Ron, but yes, remember tugboat annies.................... You did do a good job getting merc to pay for it...... after all, it was their fault

Remember the gas dock at TugBoat Annies, when a Cuban family filled up they're boat via a rod holder, filling the entire bilge with gasoline, instead of the deck fill for fuel? A spark blew the boat up, killing some of the family.
