Hydrostream ventura rebuild thread
How an 18 year old goes about rebuilding a 1978 hydrostream ventura 2 on a budget. I drove 200 miles and picked up my dream boat last week and now its time to get to work. Most importantly I hope other kids my age will see this thread and catch the hydrostream fever that so many of us know.
With a lot of excellent advice from Laker I dove into the project...
Someone had tried to recore the middle section of the boat with ply wood and very poor glass work... it was a pain to get out

Got the splash well and most of the floor out
Transom is about as rotten as it gets
