Does it still have the lip? Did you raise the motor? You shouldn't have to fight it at 100 mph

9000 rpm, 24" pitch, seems faster than I go. I'll stop suggestions now and take notes. Good luck.

I just feel having to fight the boat to much to make it run. Its that i cant its just way more effort than i feel like it should be. Kinda worries me than having to put that much into is gona cause me to get wet. Whats normal weight on xr2002 this think feels fairly lite

If your fightin with it. That's its way of telling you it don't like the setup or what your doin to it. We really need to get together one of these days . I aint worth a dang on a tunnel but I saw a Allison once (insert slept in a holiday inn express). If nothing else I can confuse the hell out of ya.

Like everybody has said ...... It's ALL about setup!!!!! Boat should run smooth, feel safe, and be easy to drive ..... I don't like running on the ragged edge!!!! My nerves can't handle that and am getting too old to enjoy the ragged edge!!!
Once the setup is dialed in, then you can work on the "driving" or "NOT driving" side of things.
By saying "setup"..... That's dialing everything in for the amount of setback you have, the prop you want to run, the lip or pencil roll on the pad, the horsepower, the gearcase, weight distribution in the boat, as well as type of steering you're running.
It's a good idea to have an experienced Allison Owner look the boat over for any setup problems and then go to the lake & let them drive it. I do that all the time with guys in my area...... I can look everything over & in 15 minutes or less, tell them any potential problems & also show them what's right and why it's right. I then go to the lake & prove to them what their boat is capable of running.... that either points to a setup problem or a driving problem ...... either way, it helps solve the problem. Thanks,
Tim Bostic

We did a lot of prop testing on Dad's XB03 and at 95 mph , it was on the ragged edge...... I finally told Dad I was done running the boat like that!!!!! Couldn't take it anymore!!!! It was NOT fun to drive !!!! The bottom NEEDED to be blueprinted before any more prop testing. Everything else was correct on the setup.
Thanks,
