Cool I like to see boats at rest by themselves floating so you can see the lines,

what makes them sexy is thinking about what they are capable of when in action

like the first post on this thread, I tried to re post it but it won't bring it up.

Not that any of you care, but... I never answered my own question about the types of boats that seem to attract hot chicks where I live. The two types of boats that always has hot girls around them are........

Wake board boats and PWC's. Sad, right?

it's the same down here twelve hundred miles south of you zero sense of style, creativity or imagination. just do what everyone else does and convince yourself that you're being a non-conformist, rebel badass. that's the dudes with the boats. thing is, girls are half the population too, and it's perfectly reasonable to expect that they share the same characteristics of me-too, mundane'ness. so they are, unsurprisingly, perfectly primed to fall for it. it's the same way you end up with the latest craze names for new babies. the parents, (who probably think they're badass with their wake board boat), try so hard to find a unique name for their kid, they all end up coming to the same conclusion. result? a sh*t ton of newborns all have the same name.

    oh yeah, back on topic...

on a related note, one of the things that draws me to boats, what makes them sexy to me... why i get a kick out of even just looking at them when i'm hanging out at the dock and not even boating myself... is that boats _look_ like what they are designed to do. and fast boats in particular look like what they were designed to do. there is just a certain naturalness to liking them because they are pure and obvious. like certain airplanes too. but less so with cars, because with a car, you never quite know what's underneath it. IOW, with cars, the suspension, which you can't even see, will make or break a car, (at least in my world, where horsepower alone doesn't mean dick unless you can stick to a corner at 90+, or throw the wheel into a hard turn flying up a bump, when you can't even see the turn on the other side, and even then, not every body has to stones to take a corner that fast or faster).

anyhow, that's one of the things i like about boats. the pureness of their look.
