This third edition is a Plymouth Belvedere replica of the original factory Max Wedge car street-driven and raced by Don Meece of Evansville, Ind. in 1964 and features the best of past and present. A very consistent 11.50 machine, it is owned by Still Rock Engineering of Waukesha, Wis. in association with Meece Family Motorsports and is co-driven by Meece, a 45-year racing veteran, and Joe Wilkiewicz, a college student in his 20’s.

Really rather glorious, this. Rodlington Stewart with Ronnie Lane, Ronnie Wood, Ian McLagan and Kenney Jones tearing the arse out of Macca's 'Maybe I'm Amazed' in 1972. Marvelous as the original is, this really has something to it.
