I'll play: I like the cleavers on the STV's when runnin' a big gearcase. I've got 32 lab cleavers for both my boats, although one's got small unit on it now.

Cleavers
One more vote for the Cleaver. They work great on the light weight boats unless you need bow lift like on the long heavy boats. Don't seem to work as well on the Allison's.

cleaver
The Mercury 14x30 Lab cleaver is my best running prop...I run it on a light weight Bullet bass boat.

Merc labs did good on a 25 motion. 26Hoss on the YT for drag,34 Hoss for speed.A standard cleaver dosn't work the well on a yt or v-bottom like a Hoss does. Will be running 15x30 Spinelli's on the Daytona.
RRRevinrude. How hard can you turn a 34 hoss.7800-8000?I love those wheels.

Waterwings,
Cleavers don't work good on my Vector either. Best top end prop I have used so far is a 30" small ear chopper. 84mph at 6300rpm.1996 Allison GSE /200XS
