Interesting a Stiletto ended up in England. I may have history on your boat, Dan built a Stiletto for a international boat show in Europe as I recall (Remember this was around 1979 so I could be wrong). There was some deal about being billed the worlds most expensive 20 foot pleasure boat or something to that effect. The boat had gold plated hardware among other strange stuff like the turbo possibly? A dead give away would be the gold plating if any still exists. I think there was a short boating magazine article about the boat under industry news....(Do not recall which magazine).

I could be way wrong about this being your boat, but some fun trivia at least.

Here's pictures of mine from 1978..........Alan

You would be correct, the Taylor Stiletto was splashed off a SleekCraft Aristocrat model which evolved to your SST.

Hi Guys, I owned several Taylor Boats back in the 70s and 80s. I found and purchased an outboard boat last fall, in process of being restored now. I will get some pictures and more info up later. Paul

Stumbled a cross this thread and remembered racing against this Taylor I believe it was 2018 Parker Enduro and he took 3rd place in Div6. It was a clean Taylor with a early 80's 2.4. Probably ran mid 70's for 4hrs and never broke.
