Mowing your lawn in Florida can be dangerous
I was mowing the lawn today and came upon this 5ft Rattlesnake. I guess my mower was faster than he was!

That's a big one, holey crap your lucky he didn't hit you. My ac guy came to do service on the outdoor unit. Had a 2' pygmy rattler in it all coiled up and pissed. I removed the little fella and put him in the woods over the fence. He kept looking for that snake to come back the whole time he was working. I kept walking by going bzzzz,bzzzz.....

We've hit a few garter snakes with the mower here. Best one was a big one that went unnoticed and got wound up in the weedeater and spit back out all cut to shreds. The thing already looked dead and an hour later had managed to drag itself another couple of feet before it finally gave up and expired.

I have 3 acres to mow and lots of woods for critters! I've had bobcats. raccoons, possums, florida panther, deer, turtles, wild pigs, and lots of snakes!

No, I mow it myself. It's just the principle of it. Too many people are just too lazy to do things themselves. I've been in business for 32 years as a bodyshop, boat sales and rigging and running my mini storage and have never had an employee. Always have done everything by myself. That way, there's no one to blame but myself if something goes wrong.
