May have posted this pic before. It is one of my favorites with the serenity of the river in the background, boat just looks clean and uncluttered...

DAMN! I with Steve on this one! Thats one sharp, clean, sleek looking boat! Obviously unique to NZ, as never heard of.

You guys got some darn neat toys down there, seen many with some fine looking bikes from there too, bike thread! What Island are you on, N/S? Guy behind me did a 3 week trip there, and didn't want to LEAVE. And my nephew, who does "Disaster Ins Adjuster", out SoCal, was there 6 weeks, doing the Christchurch earthquake. He loved it there, and you people treated them all like old friends. I meet a NZ "band", 1969 in Nam, entertaining the troops. We hung out for a few hours with them, after. Great bunch! And summer ending here, its your turn for it! Be well..(I wanna MOVE!)

Summer is finally making its way here after what was really a mild winter. The 'quakes in Christchurch were pretty intense, but great to see all the assistance from the international community. I'm up in the North Island, and now we have a freighter run aground on a reef just off the coast spewing it's fuel oil and containers along our coastline and into the inner harbour. Nasty stuff, just as well I normally only boat fresh water...
