Sounds like the limiter is taking a hammering Speedy. Is the limiter stock? Sounds brutal & above 6300. Really impressive sound, way above agressive.

It was just a totally different experience piloting this modern rig. Fires right up, idles smooth and quiet, shifts smoothly at idle. The big thing is the acceleration, even with a huge prop it is a monster. It is going to be interesting to see how it fairs at the island.

Thank you Larry for letting me experience the drivers seat of what is, to me, one of the coolest rigs out there. I got to scratch two off of my list... Venom - check, Big E-tec - check

well yeah he stomped me a few times when he was cheating,I have a big feeling its goin to be a bunch of bs down there this year.And sam you should shut your glory hole before its filled cuz you just suck period.Boy are we talkin a bit of smack,i heard you need nick to run your boat cuz your too sceeeerd to face any body on the water there.

You're right Rich....it'll be one person every week who's happy and 6 or 7 others who say he's cheating. Then when one of those people wins, everybody will say THAT guy's cheating. So, pretty much everybody gets a turn at being a cheater. I'm sure you'll hear it a few times this year.

I love watching and participating at Blarney with all you guys. But this whos cheating, finger pointing stuff is starting to get tiring. I know its been going on forever, but come on guys-we're all there for the same reason

Im also sick of hearing from everybody abought whos cheating and whos kissing a$$.I get calls from people hearing so much crap,I dont know if its true or not.I wish people would not tell me that crap cuz it gets me pissed,I just want to go down and have fun also.But you all know exactly what sam said is the fingers will be pointing.All i can say is everybodys boat better weight what thay are suppose to this year.And i will see 2 people checking all bags at the same time on each boat from each side! 1st place and 2nd winners.And I want to see a factory spec sheet on compression numbers for each year of E-tech.It would be appreciated.I just want to know.Because there are many ways around with switching heads off different years.Sorry for telling you to shut your glorry hole sam,a bit harsh but your comment made me want to push you off the pier.LOL, I wont do it.

I know a lot of people who aren't here every week don't understand us. And Tommy, even you who are a lot closer with us than most people on screamandfly still aren't here every week. We talk a LOT of smack. Rich and I are good friends and the whole idea of cheating has become more of an inside joke than reality. In racing there are always people who point fingers, but let's be real, Blarney Island isn't a REAL race...it's organized grudge matches. We have no way or inclination to do full inspections or weigh-ins every week. So, rules are put in place to try to group people together in the most competitive fashion possible.

It's not going to be equal...if we can get it remotely fair, then that's great! The fact that we have so many different people win throughout the year means that it must be pretty close. No place else on the planet has had an 3.4 Liter E-Tec, a 3.3 liter E-Tec, a 260, a 280 (w/280 electronics), a 280 (w/260 electronics), and a 225 ProMax win...NOBODY. So, I would say that even though we can't really do full inspections every week, somehow we have the "fairest" lake race class on the planet. I'll put it up against any club anywhere.

So, if you think we're battling in public, just let us talk smack and don't take it like we mean it...we don't....well, most of the time. :-)
