which engine could it be 225 2.5 efi

Hello Everybody
I went to see an engine on saturday and I don't know what I am buying.
Here is my story.
What I know about the engine it's a 2003 block
it's supposed to be a 2.5
it's supposed to develop 225 hp
forged crankshaft and piston
I haven't seen the lower unit.
Engine seems clean, compression are 168 and 164 (what the guy told me)
engine is supposed to have 194 hours.
Finnaly it's is a optimax or efi from merc.

What could it be ??

Call a mobile marine mechanic and have him go with you and tell you whats going on. It will be well worth the $100.
I won't sell a engine to someone who isnt familiar with the model or won't have a mechanic look at it, it's just asking for hard feelings.
