They're coo-koo for cocoa puffs.... No way in hell that thing would go 400 mph -- the aerodynamics aren't there. I can believe the 0-60 time though.. if it had traction.
The good news is that you could probably tow your boat with it...

Appropriate name though!!...
...like the MISSILE!! See the covers of Motorcyclist & CycleWorld this mo. WOW!!
They got flat-tracker - Scotty Parker to be the test pilot (ginea-pig?). Tipped it over trying to turn it around... 1500lbs... OUCH!!!

That is "wild" but...
with 4 wheels how is it a motorcycle? Check out www.bosshoss.com there you can find honest 500hp (502BBC) powered putts that actually have some style. Some customers have installed 600"+ 1k hp engines. (Can you say traction problems?) And the trikes actually DO pull boats!!! They cost 1/10th-1/12th what the 'hawk does and handle MUCH better (weigh 8-1100#s).

Last fall a friend of mine who is in to bikes was telling me all about a ride he took on a new Suzuki Hyabusi(?) I think it is a 1300cc. Totally nasty. Laid rubber on the expressway, pull the front at any legal speed easy. I'd have one, but I need to live to boat some more

Bad-Bad Busa!!
GP-1 has one. I've ridden it enough to know I dont' need one - too-damn easy to go too-damn fast!!
I',ve had 9sec. big-bore kitted, turbo'd, supercharged Kawasaki and Suzuki pro-street street bikes... A MILDLY done Busa' does it all!! You can run 9's @ the strip, then jump on it & go on a 2000 mi. road trip to L.A. & get 40MPG! First it was the CB750 Honda, then came the Z-1, GSXR, ZX11... All dominant, 2 wheeled techno-milestones. The Hayabusa follows in this tradition, and with the exception of the lightweight GSXRs, makes its name & compensates for weight with SHEER, BRUTE horsepower! Boss Hosses are cool - if not cartoon-like - but purely single purpose... SHOCK VALUE
& not real fun on a curvey road! But this is America, and nothing exceeds like excess!!

Hmmm, so how much does the motor weigh in that thing? Can ya stand it up on end??
300+hp from your Hayabusa: http://www.hayabusaparts.com/turbo_mcxpress.htm
Just nuts! They are getting 200hp w/out a turbo."As government expands, liberty contracts." -Ronald Reagan

Yea, there's a guy out in California (NLR) that has a turbo kit that's made over 500 hp to the back wheel.. I have absolutely no idea how you could ever ride that thing.. 200hp out of one is no big deal at all..... pipe, cams, and a little porting..
New technology is amazing..
