That Wittle derrringer is nothing but BAD AZZ. It has some serious stopping power for a 38 spcl in such a small package. It is amazingly accurate with minimal kick. And it loads very quickly.

Yep on closing the eyes before the flash. Try and cup one ear too, or there goes the hearing too. And my cop bud says best a regular load, big slug, 44/45, just a good boom, rather than the sharp crack, a 357 Mag. Think an indoor range is loud with no muffs, try an enclosed room!

HA! Thats me and MOST my neighbors! Many hunters, many just plain crazy, plus we live rural, too far to come mess with us anyway, end peninsula, one way out here, and we can do one phone call, and the road out is blocked. No where to run. Plus we got some fisherman, who are probably more deadly with a pole and hooked lure at 100 feet...hit ya in the neck and YANK!

I have a KelTec PF9 that I really like. Very light, easy to conceal, 8 round capacity (if I remember right), and it's a 9mm. I think you can pick them up new for around $250 or less.

Like that little Cobra Deringer...Thats a 38? Checkin that out...Ian I think that PF-9 might be heavier than what I would like to carry..Did some research on the Kel-tek P-32...Some people had some jamming issues with them, others not...The Ruger LCP had a trigger recall due to accidental discharge when dropped...Neither of them problems aint thrillin' me!!! Yes that Cobra is a 38 spcl. They just came out with a 45/410 model. I'm in for one to carry on my cabin Boat. They have a very high quality gun. And a bang for the buck..
