Your water pick ups or your prop shaft are 1 1/2 inches above the pad?

Last year had one hole plugged and 1 inch above pad, water pressure good, plugged another last spring raised another half inch pressure actually went up at WOT this year. Look at Marks motor raised as high as he can get it on his Vandal, no water pressure issues at all. Just have to keep working at it. It handles much better higher up too!!

Scotty. My fault, prop shaft inch and a half below pad. My over sight. You gotta relax buddy, gonna be a long winter!!

Dude the way that Vandal and V4 are rolling, you are on the right track. Looking forward to seeing it eat some 2.0 liter Mercs next year!! Keeping making small changes and making notes on what you do, and you'll be happy!

Uh, no he is already at 95% and doing quite well as just about everyone who has seen it recently has acknowledged. And all the credit to this goes to himself for the motor running as good as it does. He has learned alot along the way and learned alot about setup and testing. Because of his persistence, I think he may even be able to teach a few things about how to make the 4 stage carbs run. Learning hands on is the best way to really understand how things work. He is, and should be, very proud of himself for everything accomplished with this boat and motor. We will call it "Budget Bruiser" and is a great example of how a guy can get into this fairly cheap and have something he can be proud of.

Here Here....You have all winter to work out the bugs and there are plenty more mods that can be done to make that motor wake up even more!!! I will help you in any way you need it and we can have that bad boy scaring you to the piont where you sell that boat to Mr. Flowmaxx (cause another Hydrostream is EXACTLY what he needs) and start another project maybe this one a Hustler wit a 3 cyl Stinger on it
