Your water pick ups or your prop shaft are 1 1/2 inches above the pad?

Look at Marks motor raised as high as he can get it on his Vandal, no water pressure issues at all. Just have to keep working at it. It handles much better higher up too!!

Dude the way that Vandal and V4 are rolling, you are on the right track. Looking forward to seeing it eat some 2.0 liter Mercs next year!! Keeping making small changes and making notes on what you do, and you'll be happy!

Uh, no he is already at 95% and doing quite well as just about everyone who has seen it recently has acknowledged. And all the credit to this goes to himself for the motor running as good as it does. He has learned alot along the way and learned alot about setup and testing. Because of his persistence, I think he may even be able to teach a few things about how to make the 4 stage carbs run. Learning hands on is the best way to really understand how things work. He is, and should be, very proud of himself for everything accomplished with this boat and motor. We will call it "Budget Bruiser" and is a great example of how a guy can get into this fairly cheap and have something he can be proud of.

....2.0's are a thing of the past; right Jeff? But at any rate, Scotty puts in some serious work in the vandal and there isn't anyone else out there with the balls or patience doing the same.
