How many of you have seen it? First time I saw it I figured he should be dead from the sudden deceleration. you think he did it on purpose or just messed up?

I might be out of line here but from the video footage, he was trying to get the boat that high. I don't know if he was drunk or just doesn't understand the aerodynamics of a high perf machine but that was ridiculously high. Any boat oushing that much air will blow over and if he hasn't blown over yet, he will. Someone should save him from himself....

i can tell ya from experience he was a victim of himself!!!! way to much trim and apparently cant feel the sweet spot of his hull, must not have much seat time, he will respect it when it bites him.

Hey patches, do you have quicktime? Most of the stuff in the area is set up for WinMediaPlayer but since it's an MPEG it should wourk on most anything, espscially Quicktime

I had to get Quicktime in order to play the vid.
Anyway, if you look at the vid frame by frame, look at where the boat comes down and plants itself on the left side (you can barely see it). Now, after the spray settles, look where the boat is now. He is firther down than he was when it planted. He either had to skip or roll??? How would he stay in the boat if he rolled? But, how could he have skipped landing sideways in a tunnel??? Anyway, very lucky man!!!

nice boat Bassin! Anyway My boat's a Scott from way back in the day, the 40hp johnson is dead right now (unless you know how to get a fuel filter for a '74) so I been thinking about upgrading to whatever Bombardier puts out in a year or two. Probably more than 50 hp. 13' makes for a tiny boat don't it? Even a 40 looks huge It'll end up with a lot of mods, plus it's got this old school 60's look(looks sick without the plexi windshield)
