Thanks for the info. My skegs were new last year and are still in good shape. I'm pretty sure its a set-up problem. It darts around quite a bit on the straits and pushes at low speeds. The skis lift pretty easy, so I think I'll start with the limiter strap. Both the owners manual and the shop manual state that proper balance will be found through trial and error, but gives not even a clue as to what adjustment makes what effect on handling.

Most of our snow will be gone by tomorrow, 48F and heavy rain, bummer.
