But heres my all time "Favorite..SONG"...as been at it 50 YEARS!..a "saddlerat"!
Never got close to the top fuel bikes, best me my old Harley Sporty motor, on gas. But the thrill is "amazing!"

Top Fuel HARLEYS RULE!
The dudes, and Dudettes, who race T/F Harleys, in AHRDA, have those T-Shirts, that simply say..
No Chute
No cage

Gotta brag here a bit..as I built this bike, started 1990, frame up, good 4000 hours, 95% I did. Monster cam, Compression, need a push start..unless ya wanna try and kick it, and see how far ya fly over the bars, then can't walk for a month

Its behind me now, in the shop, pickled, but still ready to go...(just needs a YOUNGER RIDER!)...

One more pic, my dragbike, and on the right, my Flatty..and ya can tell from the cover, there is a BIG OLD MERC..IL6, the back ..holding the cover up!
A pic I need to get a poster made out of, so when I REALLY get old and feeble, and some young spunk, says.."ya ever do weird stuff as a kid?"
HA!

Yep, agree!
. I remember my mom, all excited, when found out a band named "Queen". Freddy Mercury did some great stuff, care less he went darkside, I don't judge others ways, just don't push the agenda on me.
And why she was so excited? Queen is my last name, ..used to be Mc Queen, long ago old, but my brother has done all research, "genealogy freak", the family. Has been back to Czechoslovakia, Old "Bohemia", saw where my grand parents were born, and the next trip, was to Ireland, where the wifes grandparents came from.
He has managed to put the whole thing together, and as my Grandpa, just about dropped all wife, kids, friends, long ago, got on a ship, $25 bucks in his pocket, and went the the good old USA. We have the ships logs, and shows all. Really COOL!
Anyway, the first stop, (duh), was Ellis Island. ..(that HAD TO BE A THRILL.. JUST TO SEE IT!)
Can you imagine, a dude with $25 in the pocket, jumps on a ship, weeks long, to come to America, out of war torn Europe...get some work..(EXCELLENT Brick Layer...when we did those magnificent buildings)..gets a job, and then saves ever penny, to get his family here?
Well, somehow worked. And he got the whole family here, just took time.
Now, Ellis Island has put up a "wall", dedicated to those old war torn Immigrants..looking for a better life. And the one's who made this country great...(sorry, going south now
Cost was $200, to get his name on that wall. But he's in stone now, Ellis.
Google search Ellis Island...Thomas Lejsek. Plus a wealth of info there...search yer old ..just do a name...
ANYWAY...Mark, I never listened to the words , Bohemian Rhapsody...maybe now, I will learn something?
I spent years Rocking, to the music, never cared what the "lyrics were!"..as so many hard to hear/understand!
I need to get the lyrics off it...(youtube ROCKS!..."front row seats!

Gallon 1/2, , stuffed. Its in the rear tail piece, ya can see the cap back there.
When I built it (tank).., I did a good 5 baffles , and tubes at the bottom, to let the fuel back to the front. where the fuel pick up is...never a problem. Actually, does a force flow, to the carb...on acceleration. The oil tank, is just under the seat..in front the gas tank..no sweat there either, oiled well.
The "bottle" off the down tube, was an idea .."run Nitrous", but as it was just a "project, to see what I can build"..I decided not to "bottle it", as the its a 72 Gearcase, and they had a weak side case, as the speedo drive on the old Sportys, was a ..well, "stuff the gears, out the side"
Normal Sportys, then did a good, under 40 HP. But they were very buildable.. hp, motors. Do the cams, bore to the limit..(you could do a old IronHead Sporty, at stock 61 CU, (when they went to a 1000cc) up too a good 88 incher! Balls out TORQUE MONSTER FUN! I'm probably kissing a good 100hp, bike weighs 300, do the math. Top fuel run 1500 HP, EASY!!
Port the heads, 3 angle the valves, "air in, gas,,BOOM out the back! Hardest is figuring the cams. If it "idles under 2000..?"...no good.
Ya want nothing but MASSIVE OVER LAP, cams, screw idle.. and THEN, after 2500 R's..**** HITS THE FAN. Gotta keep it "on the cams"...(and the pipes, its science...looking for the high R sweet spot)..And good too many R'S...thats the FUN!.. Ya wanna shift, but it STILL KEEPS PULLING!
Most Harleys dont see 6000 R's...this here, mine, is massive pistons, short stoke, and 8000 R's is cool. BUT ...still old school fun.
Sitting next to it is a 165 mph MONSTER, 91 Honda CBR 1000, kick its azz silly..but now WAY ..in hell..Ya ever get that Harley .."torque"..out my blood!

Still hard to fathom, T/F rides, hitting 100mph, from a standing start under a second, and in 60 feet!
