I don't know why we do what we do? So far all I've done is split the hull and take the floor out. hope tommorrow is the big day. I got three sheets of coosa composite new respirator and cooler full of encouragement I'm on vacation and I intend to enjoy it.

Got alot done today got to dark to take pics but the transom is clean and most of the core is out. The core was wet and had termites a slow go a block at a time .You haven"t lived until you chipped out a core. The crazy thing about this boat is all of the composite material is in the deck and none in the hull. I hope that when it's back together it is at least 100pds lighter than new. It was running 70 water logged with a 150 promax and a beat up 23 trophy. I 'll be glad when it's back together and a 280 on the back.

Man I'm sorry as in lazy I promise to post pics tommorow It's coming along. grinding sanding etc. got new transom cut try to get stringers and knees done tommorow. I'm still waiting on the brown truck to bring my glass and epoxy. Buy the way tip to any body using coosa wear gloves at all times this stuff has shards small and painfull and it turns yellowish green if left in the sun for 8hrs.

The brown truck finally came got all my epoxy and glass. I wish there was a place I could this stuff local I hate waiting. If you ever look on a map and see 3hrs from everywhere that's where I live 3hrs from the atlantic 3hrs from the gulf 3hrs and 3hrs from the mtns. I'm going to replace the center stringer in the pics after I glass in transom outside stringers and knees. It was the only thing half way sound in the boat and I don't want the hull to lose it's shape or hook or anything. The boat is well supported and dead level but... just a little extra precaution.

I've been slack on taking pics, but the transom and stringers are glassed in. Tommorow the sole should go in plus the few pieces of core that go between the stringers in back half.

I'm starting to get sick of it. I'm going to tab and glass sole today. The gas tank pads maybe I've got some sanding and grinding to do back there. The ledger board and center knee wall might have to wait until my next off days I doubled the size of the knee walls length wise In the back just like a bullet xd I'm amazed that It was not done like that originally seems if your going to copy a hull you should at least copy the guts?

floor is glassed in used all my thick glass a 1708 type I'm not sure what the exact weight of is % wise but it equals out to 32oz. It was called yacht cloth when I got a 250ft roll years ago . It's thick heavy and a pita to work with eats resin that little sole drank a gallon. I've got a gallon of epoxy left and a lot of little things to do. I'm going to use it and what ever glass is left and order more . I hope I'm doing things fairly right I haven't had a lot of feed back. I've spent my vacation on this project I go back to the real world tommorow and I'm glad. To all of you who do this for a living RESPECT I will be glad to go back to boxcars.
