I never use 4WD at the ramp with my truck and i never have trouble, i dont think i even used it when i launch at your ramp. So the point is Ford vehicles have superior traction compared to other brands

the test was all good for a laugh and fun. and yea the tundra looked like it was missin bolts it shook so bad , but really who the hell is gonna beat the sh*t outta their truck like that at those speeds? i mean that is a bit extreme.
    marketing yes i know..

but really where were the dodges in this test?

dont get me wrong im not a ford basher i like any vehicle that stands the test of time but as far as the new (cloth)interiors ford has been using..oh boy.
you should see the testing the trucks go through at the proving grounds on a daily basis.

Also my parents live on a dirt road, I'd be willing to bet that during the freeze thaw, freeze thaw for 4 months a year here in michigan we call winter that me going to their house looks an awful lot like that video,,,,so at this point I love my chevy.

A friend of mine pulled a 4K lb 24' BBC vee with a chevy beretta. Had to have three guys sit on the hood at times to get enough traction at concrete ramps. He put a trans cooler and helper springs in the back, still had to be pretty careful on corners. I think those had 2.8 V6. Then he pulled a 28' twin BBC vee that was IIRC 8K lbs with an F150 5.0L. It took a while to get up to 60mph, downhill. He would run it on the floor in 2nd for a mile plus sometimes to get up to speed, and up any grade in the expressway. He was a little nuts.
