I was really hoping to make it, but family stuff got in the way...my father in law and his wife dropped in from Colorado on Saturday and just couldn't make it out of town. Well, let's put it this way...I could have made it out of town, but I wouldn't have been welcomed back I don't think.
Is it always the first weekend in August? If so, let's really get this thing big next year and promote it.
I'll put it on the calendar for next year so I don't have any excuses.Sam Baker
On to the next project....

Just speculating but I would think it's about 50 miles round trip. I would have to look at a river chart to be exact.

this sounds like a lot of fun and I would love to bring my little vixen out but it falls on the same weekend as a motorcycle rally I go to. lets see the rally is not to far from the Mississippi....have a hitch on my bike and the stream is light....maybe i could do both!!!
