Ultrasonic cleaners. How good do they work?

I wanted to see how good my little ultrasonic cleaner really works. I took apart this blown up 200EFI I bought. It was left outside uncovered for who knows how long. The block is cracked and everything inside the block is junk. But I wanted to see if I could clean up the pistons. They were really corroded. I had to hammer them out of the block. I threw 2 of them untouched in my little ultrasonic cleaner. I did not do anything else to them. Compared to what they looked like, they came out great!!! Even the rings are unstuck. Not perfect, I still would not use them. But some people probably would. They would probably work fine in a low performance motor if you replace can press out and replace the wrist pin. It is still frozen.
