Which way do you think the flow is in those hoses?

Surprised that there hasnt been more work on heads ( easy to do with a few holes in head gaskets and the head and more divertors) to alter and even up water flow around the cylinders
Merc and OMC have the old send the water in one end and out the other and hope for the best
Look at 410 sprint car and Nascar engines and they all have mods to even water flow per cylinder

the coolant pumps up the center of the block, and up through the top cavity in the top of the exhaust divider out into the divider plate then back into the block into the cylinders as well as out of that nipple on the top of the block which feeds down to the poppet and the tell tale. The coolant goes in the block, around the cylinders, then back up into the cylinder heads. The way this extra hose mod is routed intersects here and adds more cooling to the center area of the heads by adding in that extra loop.

Might make the top block exit fitting taller so it traps more air and good place to stick the timing pointer on

    Nic or sleeved?
Seems that cooling is more of an issue with steel sleeves as in less tolerant when on a on piece

The one piece for steel sleeve motors needs to run stats and have drain holes added to the adapter plate. Quite a comprehensive thread on that topic here. The info towards the last few pages is most current

    Drain holes added?
They are too big now so no block pressure
