    One piece plates and tuners.

    BOTH plates are SOLD!

I'm cleaning up some left over parts, more stuff to come.
2- 2.4 1pc adapter plates, clean, no cracks have the exhaust ports opened to match a 2.5 block.
    1 has a 3/4 tube mod.
1 has a 225PM tuner and the other has the BP tuner.
    Great plates for the 225PM.

I can send specific picture of any of the parts if needed.
    Tony
    516 807 1456.

The one on the left has the stock BP tuner and on the right stock 225PM tuner.
The one on the left has a 3/4" water tube and the one on the right has 1/2".
The one on the left someone welded those front tabs which can easily be removed and the one on the right are stock.

Below is a cut BP tuner that was used on a 15" mid and a stock full size one.
According to Hoxie this plate below was run on a 15" mid with a 280 powerhead on a drag boat 118.

B, plate and tuner for $150???
Just the tuner is $150. The last picture is the 280 tuner but I know you knew that!
I will get better pictures of just the tuners, just took quick pics as I was moving things out of my way in the garage.

    Sent you a PM.

For all others, $300 for just the plate.
These are clean no corrosion or pitting in the important water cavities.

Tux,what kind of mods did you have to do to the 2.4 plates to run on a promax 225 ? it looks stock, just opened up the exhaust port to match the block ?

Exactly, just open that 1/4" on the exhaust ports!
What is nice with the 2.4 BP plate is that the 4 water dump holes equal that 19/64 single hole so no mod needed there.
The tuner will even work but I personally like using the early 2.5 or stock 225PM tuners which bolt right up.
The early 2.5 will give you a bit more up top especially if you are looking to spin up 7000ish but not much. Everything else bolts right up.
NOTE: some say that the port gets thin in that area but not anything to worry about the 2.5's are exactly the same. They are traced from a HP gasket.

Ok tks. Tux , i'm the guy that sent you that 260 tiller and 2.5 plate earlier in the summer, I had a couple buddy's with cold temp issues on. 225 pm's running the 2.5 plate on ridgeback mids., they ended up going back to 2 pc. Plates. I'd rather run the 1 pc., i've read tons about the subject,in archives. And never really found a definitive answer about using the BPort plate. I'm having a 225 pm built for my bass boat this winter, We have a PM 2 pc. Plate and Tuner, also a bport plate and tuner, plus the 260 plate and tuner that is still in the mid, in the pic. This is the setup, what , in your opinion would do for plate/tuner ? Tks man!

No worries about hi-jacking we can all learn from provided info, heck I learn something new every day!

First thing if you are planing on running it on a fishing rig like you mentioned and not turning over 7000rpms leave the 2pc plate, no gain there unless of course you want or like the 1pc plate.
With the 1pc which I'm sure you have read it will take some tweaking to get temp correctly. Depending on what part of the country you run it may take more tweaking then others, some even run stats which is fine but the poppet has no function with a 1pc plate.
What I have found with the 2.4 BP plate was that the drain holes are smaller and placed correctly so no need to mod them. You will need to open the exhaust ports that 1/4" to match the 2.5 block.
The other thing I see in you picture it looks like you are running a single ram saddle bracket. If it has the 1/2" allen bolts where it mount to the plate you will need to re-drill and tap the 2.4BP for the 1/2" they usually come 7/16", the ones I have posted for sale have already been drilled and tapped.
As for the tuners the 2.4 BP, 225PM and early 2.5 will work well and since they have the small bolt pattern is what bolts correctly. A 280 will not bolt right up unless you drill the tuner.
The only one I have seen work a bit better but only up top is the early 2.5, certainly no huge/big difference. I actually like the 225PM stock tuner which will still give you that bottom grunt.

Yes it's a stock '93ish ridgeback with a 260 clamp/tuner, the 4 hole is still here, but the sporty came off a 40 hour 280, ya whatever the latest merc box lets the 225pm run rpm wise , is all i'm using for now, a-36 , i think. I'm gonna' stick with the PM stock adapter/tuner. Tks. For explaining all your experimenting and conclusions.
