Has anyone said if the twin engine version will retain the center pod or is there an insert to remove it? I sure like the idea of a twin 300R rig of this size that will hold air on the deck and a wrap windscreen that offers occupant protection. It appears this has been designed to do just that.

Hey guys, thanks for following our progress! The Trick 23 has taken more than 2 years to design, develop the plug, and create the mold. We built a new building and moved everything from New Bern NC to Chapin, SC. We now have the first boat out of the mold and Jeff is working every day of the week to get it completed. We've had such a great interest in the boat and we're excited to bring it to the market however the boats that are delivered this year will likely all have the center pod. That's not to say that it won't be available in the future without the pod, but it's honestly not our primary focus at the moment. I will say that the elevated design of the pod is much higher than the running surface of the sponsons and we expect it to be entirely out of the water when running at higher speeds.
A number of people have asked us how we expect it to run offshore and we always respond the same, it's a 23 foot boat that's designed for inland lakes and waterways and we're confident that it's going to deliver a smile doing just that, and do it well. Sure, there will be days where you can run the snot out of it in the bay, across the harbor or offshore, but there will naturally be days where these waters are way too rough just because of its size. It's 23 feet, not 33 and we think that it's going to be simply amazing on lakes like we're on, Lake Murray, and many lakes and waterways just like it.
As we approach the finish line with the completion of the first boat, the second boat will begin production soon after, marking the beginning of full-scale production. It's been a long road, with everyone putting in long hours, tremendous effort, and we can't wait to share the outcome. We look forward to providing running footage and performance data as soon as she's ready for the water.
Here are a few pics from today, New Years Day, with Jeff Haag working as usual.

boats looking good as been following its progress
always thought the rear area would be a hatch for storage like all others
so that area staying solid?
hard and long reach to get to things getting to transom for rigging and to mount and wire things
or or having to take back seat out just work on
imagine is to be a hatch but just curious if is to beLast edited by johnmiffco; 03-14-2024 at 06:02 PM.
