altamate, Come on man! I was joking, hence the smilies. I would not mind having one myself. I have gotten lazy in my old age. Bike needs a new shock on it now. I need to get on that.
BTW I have the sissy looking bike paints, gloves and even a Bell helmet!
Oh, and far as the bike paints go, they have foam padding to make it more comfortable. Maybe that is what you needed.
Oh, BTW my son said the Quiet Kat was available with a motor on the front wheel too for real 2 wheel drive. Which I thought was cool as hell!
He also has a trailer to load up a deer on to pull it out of the woods. They were laughing at him at first until he put his brother on it and pulled him around. LOL!
BUT if I really want to be lazy, I hop on my Honda CRF 230F!

No worries, I’m too old, fat, white, male, privileged to be insulted by anything and I was at least partially aware you were teasing. My response was for anyone considering one of these.
Unlike an electric boat or car, because these things have pedal assist you don’t get stranded when the battery is low/ out of charge. I think that like some hybrid cars it really is a good application of electric power. The battery usable life may only be 8yrs(at least that’s what I’m expecting) but it is in the $500 dollar range to replace so ~25% of the bike cost, not bad and certainly not going to make the bike impossibly worthless at that time like is happening to some of the 8-10 yr old electric cars today.08 Checkmate 2100br 250xs

Stoker, I wish I remembered the district that was about. Glad your son & his wife are making a decent wage, although LA's cost of living eats it up.....still, overall teachers are generally underpaid everywhere, IMO.

In the vast network of gated roads, or maze of mountainous single track trails in Idaho, they offer no more access privilege, than my cr or yz 250. If it's closed to motorized vehicles, it's closed to e-bikes, only conventional pedal, horse, or boots, allowed.
They would be a bit quieter than a 2 stroke motocross bike to use for hunting, but doubt they would cope with the elevation gains we have around here. Sorry Boys, I'm going to stick to my 2 strokes.

Well it’s nice that your relatives are being compensated financially above the nation’s natural average. Maybe it is because the Lotto money (politicians got the state to pass the California Lotto, assuring the voters that, the acquired Lotto revenue would be applied to the California school system).
However, in Los Angeles county (Los Angeles Unified School District) the academic level of students is less than desirable. The disappointment might be more a lack of parents instilling their children the importance of learning and academic achievements. And also, some might point to the teachers’ qualifications or lack thereof. (I live in one of the Cal beach cities (non LAUSD), where student academic results are good).
In Florida, when I was in high school back in the 1970’s, the California students were yearly in the top of the nation’s academic rankings. That laudable past has not been LAUSD (and maybe the greater Cal area too) accomplishment in recent decades.

I went on a trip in northern Arkansas to Magazine Mountain state park. It was bicycle, foot, or horse only. And let me tell you.... I would rather share the trail with a dirt bike than a f**king horse. Talk about screw the trail up. Made the ride almost unbearable. it was like small pot holes ALL OVER THE TRAIL. So if I have to share a trail with those nags. I'll just stay home!

I hear you FC. On the couple of trails I share with horses, they walk off the low side of trail so bad that it would be unusable in the rain for them, If not for the motorcycles that groom it back out. It gets pretty interesting, meeting head on with some of them cowboys. As a bike rider we try and be nice and get off the trail, shut down our engines and let em by. It doesn't always work out that way when you can't see em, or the trail is narrow and steep. I can't say, I've never started a rodeo or two! Some of them fellers pack around awful big revolvers!!!!

I’ve noticed many of the lower income areas don’t have a robust educational system. I wonder why that is.
Education is a moot point if the students have no desire to learn. And then we have the vandalism problem.
Of course nowadays if a man works hard and scratches his way to the top it must be because of white privilege. It seems kids don’t wanna work they want things handed to them.
The California lottery, just another money making scheme for the politicians.

You should see the ghetto schools we have here. They aren't there to learn. They are sent there to be baby sat.
Go to the Memphis, TN or Jackson, MS (Memfrica and Jafrica) TV "News" Facebook pages. Look at what they post and their grammar. It is horrific!
Then take in the murder rate. Jafrica had almost as many homicides as ATLANTA, GEORGIA! Which is THREE TIMES THE POPULATION!
Don't get me started on Chicago, New Orleans, Birmingham, Camden, Minneapolis, Cincinnati, NYC, etc., etc., etc. Name a liberal s hit hole that isn't!
How about it, resident liberals. Help me out here.
Signed,

Yeah, we won't talk about my "neighbors" in DC or Baltimore........most of the shootings & carjacking are by teenagers. DC reports 230 carjackings by teens so far this year! Schools in lower income areas of both cities have been closed due to non working HVAC, falling ceilings, contaminated water, sanitary issues in kitchens- to name some problems. Kids have gotten so out of hand that curfews have been enacted recently. Teachers might need to be in a cage like a band at the honky-tonk.......Lack of parenting & an over protective Child Service Agencies are the 2 biggest problems IMO. Plus the courts that don't hand out effective punishment, if any. Shxt, you can't even spank your kid without getting in legal hot water, forget the belt from dad or the hairbrush from mom or getting a paddling at school. These kids have nothing to fear, so they feel invulnerable. BTW, I also would endorse PUBLIC HANGINGS for corporal punishment, think it would cut waaaay down on all.the violence we see nowadays 0-:
