what are your thoughts on Wiseco's for the V4 crossflow motors? they make up to .060'' over i believe, so might be the only way to go unless you want to shell out $350 for each sleeve.

Yes.......no need to go 60 over other than a motor thats RARE.....even then....too many problems.

Interesting they still sell em', was just curios. I'll stick with the Pro-marine no larger than .040'' methinks. whats the issue with such a large overbore? exacerbates the "lost rings" issues?

Any benefit to heat cycle the new piston in my oven a few times before I install it? If so, what temp and how long?
1990 Shadow bass boat w/ 2.4 200 Merc. Totally resto'd boat and love it!

Put a Turkee in with the pistons..... at the best you will have a good meal.
 Heat cycle has to do whit getting block/ pistons to heat size.....normalizing clearances....on running motor.
