Firstly the 24 is heavier than the 21, the owner that spends a lot of time fooling with set up ran 118 MPH with his tuff 24, it has a DBR stage 1 kit on the motor. His 21 which was 890 ish lbs (hulls and deck) ran a best of 106. Same motor on both boats. Keep in mind these are full interior lake boats.
Do not be fooled into thinking it is just a light boat, that is only a small part of the tail. The pad isn't just a pad, there is a lot going on around it. IF you think you can build a light boat with a pad and pull the numbers off you will fail like ever one else that has tried.
The Tuff 28, then 16 then 24 and now the 34 are all 100% from Mark. They are each lessons learned from each other, no part is interchangeable all new all CNC plugs.

    This is correct!!!!

No Chaz the 21 maybe but this is truly groundbreaking different, now looking at the 24 and 28 top speed runs the stern sits lower in the water at top end, then a regular pad boat, He's on to something different, I believe that concave looking area has air tubes running to it, RBT had a boat with a similar Idea on the bottom , RBT just said it's Marks own design, you don't need to have CNC plugs made when splashing, extending a design.

    Kudos Mark

I think the 24 is the coolest V bottom out there, especially now that engines are big, powerful, and heavy

It's more aerodynamic than the 21, narrower. Exceptional proportions.

I love my SS2000 to death, but as big an Allison fan as I am, the Tuff 24 has set a high bar for the oft rumoured big Allison.

It’s true that Wildman reported working on a new cat. But it’s not out yet.

Probably selling too many bassboats to fool with a recreation/hotrod.

I wonder how it would handle another 200# of power? It looks like it would handle it to me.....
