So Fastenal said they can't get you a better grade? I thought the Merc ones were good? Don't believe this was the bolts fault here, negligence.

I just looked at what they have online. And I don't think it was the fasteners either. More like they worked loose and it went down hill from there.

321 alloy bolts iirc are the good ones to use. Low gall, high strength. I believe there is also 410 or something like that but not as corrosion resistant.

Red locktite lol, yeah need some heat to crack loose. Same with nylocs a bit of heat helps a LOT but one time use. There are those distorted nut lock nuts as well as the sliced/pinched ones. All one time use with stainless imo due to the thread galling BS
