Thanks ... The stripe WAS Cuda inspired. Wanted a "muscle boat" look. Lot of little things make the boat real cool. Slide stereo mount to keep it dry and out of the way. Concealed breaker panel and no fuses. Even the ign/kill switch is hidden. Custom shifter with mustang SVT shift lever. Real slick rigging at the stern. I went for the "can't see the parts" look. 28 gal fuel tank with hidden vent. 2 tone interior floor. Windshield is isolated with rubber washers and sleeves on the thru bolts. All screws are indexed. The list goes on....

Ain't it great to have papa TRUMP back at the helm?

I AM BREATHING SOOOOOOO MUCH BETTER NOW ! After removing the hundred pound monstrosity i was blown away to find that the transom is dry as a bone and rock solid ! Even took a hammer and chisel to it.So it looks to be that i only have to glass the cap to the transom on the inside, repair the chit work around one stringer and add some knee braces.....and the hard part, cutting away the exterior of the shell/cap to fit the manuel jack plate.Think i will sit down and enjoy a coldadult beverage !

I think you should reconsider removing that 100 pound part that was transferring the thrust and lift to a small transom boat. Cut the motor and be safe.

[QUOTE=Dave S;3059667]I am in VA ....when you move here I can help you if you want.I can't wait tell October and get to Va ! I am still up in the air avout driving/towing back.A huge part of me pulling the boat apart and fix the little issues in tge back is so i can sell it with piece of mind knowing it's solid. If i do drag it over,i will go crazy with it over the winter.I have a killer wrap i made for it,just haven't had time to do the install.

Anybody know of a thread that explains what i need and how to unstall knees ? I just can't put this back together the way it was and still not have the motor height i need.Think i need to keep the manuel plate i just picked up,use the Bob's 5" lift extentions and install some knees and get the motor closer and higher.
