What a difference an inch makes, it drives like a different boat after lowering the motor . It was very choppy today with about 10 mph winds. I was only able to get it up to 62 at around 5200 rpm but it drove great , I could've let go of the wheel if I wanted . Temp sender is working, temp stayed around 115-120 but water pressure is still kinda low at about 8 psi. I had to order a poppet kit because no place in town had one. Hopefully that will help. I never trimmed it up , I'm sure I could trim it up a little and unwet the hull and really get some speed out of it.
