We would love to help you with your motor but please don't wait. As a shore community around the end of March, beginning of April we are in full swing of servicing our many local customers who look to have their boats recommissioned and in the water by Memorial Day. At that point we don't even begin to slow down till just after 4th of July. And of course we campaign a drag boat in the VODBA and that eats up some of our fri-mondays. This is the best time of the year for turn around on a rebuild. Thanks for considering us and the many referrals from the members here

    Dropped off the Barge yesterday.

Nothing like a 170 mile trip for the first tow with a new truck.....

Got the barge in the water last weekend.

Great job by Fuller's on the rebuild.
Turns out that a bad stator was most likely the root cause of the failure.

I had been having a mid rpm stumble/stall problem since I got the boat in 2011 that I was never able to figure out and just learned to live with.
Paper work I go with the boat showed at least one attempt to fix the problem some time before I got it with unknown success.

It's like a whole different beast now.

They were easy to work with and it turns out George's wife is from my old neighborhood, and I went to school with one of her brothers.....small world.

It was worth dragging the barge 170 miles north to get her fixed up right.

    Thanks guys!

Got any interesting info on the Leisurecat?

How many years were they made?
I have seen one that I think was a 94.

If I'm decoding the HIN correctly mine is hull 209, built 1/6/96 (A696).....on my birthday.

My question is, was the hull number continuous for the run of the Leisurecat?
Meaning LC209 was number 209 of the Leisurecat starting with the first year they were made?

Do you have any idea what type of plastic the bow and stern doors were made of?
My bow door broke like glass last season.
I have a piece of Starboard to make a new one, but it does not appear to be the same stuff.
The head door is Starboard though.

Also STR is another option , here is a few pics of the wonderful work he performed on pair early 3 Litre engines , note port work also after dismantling both engines it was determined that he put used 3.2 cranks and I paid for new , porting done with a chainsaw and never cleaned debris . The engines lasted 10 minutes while @ Fullers marine for start up . Like I said STR is the best in the business !!

I since started with new 2002 engines , port timing to 300 x and removed ex restrictions . All machine work done on a Rottler hp-7 , state of the art bore/hone cnc . Cant afford or trust anyone so I build my own however known George for 30 years and he's a honest guy

The pictures below are of two ( pair ) Shaun Torrente built 3.2 litre efi stoker with ten min run time , he said no warranty but didn't think he would drive a buick up my ass

There was 2-3 built a week in the plant I worked in. The doors were probably some sort of plexi. No recollection on how the HIN ran. Most were shipped with Yammahas however.

I saw one on Craigslist in Dover right after I got mine, that was a twin. Same colors, same motor (Mariner).

I think you may be right on the doors, they are some kind of harder plastic than Starboard. The door for the storage compartment under the helm looks to be made of the same stuff.

At 2-3 a week, I'd guess that the 209 might be total production up to that point.

I've seen three others in Delaware. The one that was for sale on CL, the 94 I found, and I saw one in a storage yard.

I saw a thread on another forum where a guy in Florida had a custom cap made that turned it into a center console.
The thing looked pretty neat. Deck space like an aircraft carrier....
